Alison! I was wondering where you went. Let me know if there's anything I can do...like let you use my computer if you get sick of cluster-land. Most of this week's work is paper-oriented anyways...

Heh -- if that were the question this would be *easy*. Well, easier at least.

The sucker's out of warranty. Whee! So I need to make sure that I and everyone I know and love has tried to fix it first, and *then* figure out if I want to dump several hundred dollars at Dell or Best Buy or give up, sell it for parts, and get something else. Aieee.

Guinea pig? I know that they were used for food in South America, but...I had a guinea pig. I think I'll skip that one.
