Argh!

I do *everything* at the last minute. Especially (but not limited to) homework. It's a really, really bad habit, this procrastination thing, and (as the joke goes) I keep telling myself I'll stop tomorrow.

Now I have to go do calculus. (Entirely unrelated. Really. No, okay, that's not true at all.)

I woke up at 5:45 AM today (and it's currently 6:06) to do homework that is due today that I didn't do last night. This is a habit. Also, it's due at 3:30 PM. That means it won't be finished and printed until 2:15 PM.

Note that I am not, in any way, endorsing this behavior.

*g* My stuff's due at 4:15 pm today -- I was up until almost 4 this morning and now I'm up again and preparing to get back at it, till I have class, and then hopefully I'll finish during lunch.

I have never had any coffee in my life. I'm not a big fan of medicine, drugs, and mind-altering substances, because I don't like the idea of having a lifestyle that is dependent on such products.

I am considering giving caffeine a chance...

I was drinking lots of green tea last night -- it's got *some* caffeine, though the effect may be more in my head. I never drink straight-up coffee, not through philosophical ideals so much as it just doesn't taste good. Once it gets past the 1 to 1 coffee to not-coffee (milk, sugar, whatever) ratio then I'll think about drinking it. :P

You can tell how badly I don't want to do this homework by how much attention I'm paying to my e-mail messages telling me I have a new comment... so much for all those thoughts that once I hit college it'll all be interesting, even fascinating stuff that'd be its own motivation 'cause I'd want to learn it even if I didn't have to.

Oh, I'm sure there'll be interesting things to learn... but everything is boring sometimes.
