Sheesh, people.

I was going to be all economical and just borrow a copy of HP&tHPB from someone in my family when they got done, but you people are making me want to read it RIGHT THIS INSTANT just so I can click on all those taunting LJ-cut-tags. (And thank you for cutting spoilers, people, it's very much appreciated.) Oh man, so much temptation...

Aww. Goodbye bell-bottom chick with wings. And whoah, your journal is all newish now. Man, the times, they are a-changing.

Bell-bottom chick with wings is still stored on my hard drive; she may yet be back. (I was secretly wondering if anyone would notice though.) I'm playing with the S2 styles because I keep meaning to look into this new tags feature, it sounds really cool and it's actually a little bit related to some of the stuff my group at work does in a sideways manner... :)

It isn't a question of not noticing, its a question of whether it's ok to comment.
And in terms of HBP, I'd offer you my copy, but it's currently making the rounds--sorry! The numerous blazing wars over spoilers made me very concious about cutting it. Sorry if it taunts you :(

Of course it's ok to comment... why wouldn't it be? :P

I'm sure I'll get a copy sooner or later -- it'll probably even be sooner-not-later -- but man oh man are those cut tags tempting. :) Especially, someone's got a cut-tag that said something like "One-word spoiler for HBP" and I looked at it and went "well, how could you have a spoiler in just one word? Unless it was maybe 'Sirius' or 'Cedric'?" and alllllllmost clicked but resisted. I think as soon as I get a chance to read it I will probably run back through my friends list and look at what everyone's said...

where is it? I'll take a look and tell you how severe it is, if it's something like a general term, that you'd have to be partly spoiled to get, I'll tell you so you can look.

Thanks for the offer! I accidentally looked at it while getting the link -- it was zombies (http://www.livejournal.com/users/minttown1/611279.html). *blinks* Wow, that should be ... interesting.

*sarcastic* oh that's REALLY important....kind of like "dragon" for goblet of fire.....

Lots of different degrees of spoiler, I guess, and it's better safe than sorry and so forth. I'm curious how that's going to work in, but I'll find out soon enough.
All my zombie associations are right now with Resident Evil 4 (which someone on my hall has been playing recently), zombies and shotguns and blood and gore, but somehow I imagine Ms. Rowling is probably taking a slightly different angle on it. :P

weeelll, zombies is zombies is zombies.

have you managed to get your hands on a copy yet?

[identity profile] godream.livejournal.com 2005-07-23 08:44 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes! I'm a hundred pages or so in -- far enough to read that there are rumors of zombies, but no actual zombies in person yet. But if they're mentioned, of course they're coming. ;)

they're not THAT major (yet)
