The laptop's broken again and I'm replacing because dammit I need a computer that works. I'm interrogating everyone I know about their computers, looking for advice; I think it's going to come down to one of the lovely shiny sturdy IBMs -- the question really is how much shininess that I don't *really* need will I end up getting anyways. I'm lusting over one really fantastic one but on the other hand I'd probably also be fine with a more different one with about half the shiny quotient and three-quarters the price. (but if I'm buying an expensive computer anyways, should I just bite the bullet and get the ridiculous one?) Decision to be made & ordered tomorrow, probably.

Someone left a chunk of bubble wrap on my door -- I'm not sure who, but it made me pretty happy. This week's almost over, and that makes me pretty happy too.

And now to attempt to get back to focusing on the huge amount of work I have yet to do. :/

Yay for new computers. I know tons of people with those slim black ones IBM makes, and all of them love it. My dad even has one for work. Oh BTW, I will be in the Boston area on March 11, morning and early afternoon of March 12, afternoon and evening of March 22, March 23, March 24, and March 25. Maybe I will get to see you. If not, I should be home from school on May 12.

Everyone I know who has an IBM adores it. Which is a big part of why I'm going to get one.

Next weekend is going to be sort of ugly again I think -- I have to try to make it home at some point which is, y'know, not a BAD thing but a time-consuming thing, and there's some chance that my little sister may come visit. But we should get together sometime in that 22-25 range. Thursday evening doesn't work for me 'cause I've got choir, but Wednesday or Saturday could be good. :)

I don't know much about IBM laptops. I had an IBM desktop for 5 years that was wonderful. We had to replace it becuase it was obselete though.

Mac laptops are pretty reliable - despite my recent issue. But then again, some people only want Windows.
