the joys of pager duty

godreamPeriodically when I carry the pager for my project at work, I get messages that I can only assume were intended for the previous person to have my phone number. "Rick do u or mike track lots once alex leaves?" and "all is well w tbh203 fyi. thx." Clearly not relevant to me, and somewhat mystifying.
I tend to just ignore these, especially when they come at times I'm busy with other things. Once though I showed one to an adjacent coworker. He looked at it. "You should respond with 'Fuck you, I quit'," he said. I didn't, but every time I get one, I am seriously tempted.
