(no subject)

So the 4e postapocalyptic party went well, to my slight (but only slight!) surprise. We discovered one of our freshmen is an *amazing* DJ -- totally able to tune in to what the room wants to come next and make it happen -- the dance floor wasn't less than full from the moment she sat down until we had to shut down at 1:30 lest we further violate city noise regulations. Next year we'll have to figure out how the technology to fade from one song to another works and put it in her hands, since the only problem this year was the occasional weird between-songs pause. We put hazard signs in the lights -- they looked really neat, I'm not sure if we got any pictures. And there were glowsticks, and general awesomeness. (And now there will be sleep, yay!)
