If I'd just worn different fsking shoes -- maybe then we'd've been out of the parking lot faster (cause I wouldn't have stopped to debate taking the slides I was wearing off to drive), wouldn't have been in front of the impatient guy who beeped at me, wouldn't have sped up a bit, wouldn't have been at the intersection at the same time as the other car.

Jeez.

It happened, I should just live with it, stop spazzing and wishing I'd wake up. Right? Easier said, of course, but still. Bleh.

{{{hugs}}} It'll be OK Alison. They say every new driver has an accident within their first year. My friend Kate totaled her family's purple convertible, I blew a tire while I was concentrating more on waving to my boyfriend than driving on the onramp. Another girl on livejournal just totaled her car. At the beginning of the summer my mom and I were rear-ended in traffic and the next day she side-swiped a car while she was parking (and she's been driving for 40+ years!). I know you feel stupid right now, but it could have been worse. I'm just glad that you and everyone involved is OK. Even just the other day, I nearly got hit backing out of my driveway (this is after 2+ years behind the wheel) and my husband almost got hit by a truck on the way to our wedding! I guess what I'm trying to say is that stuff like this happens all the time, and although it was scary, it'll be better soon. {{{more hugs}}}

Thanks... I'm needing all the hugs I can get at the moment. (Much to the dismay of my little sister and designated random-hug-giver-and-receiver.) Sloooowly starting to get over it, but it hurts.
