godreamI am going to love this season's Angel, if only for the Spike. I can just tell. Though the rest doesn't look half bad. *does the happy dance*
And I can't wait to see next week's episode, especially after the scenes they showed after the credits. "I'm from Wolfram and Hart," says Angel sternly, a note of threat in his voice. "I'm his date," adds Spike, without missing a beat.
And hey, now I can go read all the comments on the episode. I ended up being only a little spoiled for this one, which makes me happy, though I kinda wish I hadn't known about the Gunn-gets-brains thing.
I think even Harmony is appealing to me. (In controlled doses, that is.) Strange, since I distinctly remember disliking her on Buffy. Maybe it's the yay! spike tint to my train of thought bringing that opinion. *shrug* Anyways, I was immensely amused to see her show up -- I'd read that casting spoiler but forgotten all about it till I saw her. "The extra ingredient is otter?" Ew ew ew -- and yet, giggle.
Heck, I almost like Eve. And NOBODY likes her. Of course, I have yet to see seasons 2&3 so I'm not so much picking up on the not!lilah vibe... but I thought she was way better than that fanatic on the hit squad. Which, since I imagine we'll be seeing far more of her, is probably a good thing, hm?
I'm told the second episode and more are on Kazaa or something already, and I see people discussing everything up to episode eight, regardless of the fact that the season started two nights ago. But -- soooo tempted... must resist...
