mua ha ha ha
Mar. 5th, 2005 12:01 amI'm once again laptop-enabled. But I haven't been reading my friends-list for the last week, though I may scan through it depending on what else I have to do tomorrow. We shall see. If for whatever reason you want me appraised of interesting stuff from then, tell me, though I don't know why. (Of course if I did know why there'd be no reason to tell me. Huh.)
Tests started up at the end of last week --
liz_factorial and I discovered we both have tests nearly every week till the end of the semester, which is a little depressing but unsurprising and probably something we share with the rest of the school. Three or four classes giving tests, two to four tests per semester (gross overgeneralizations and estimations here, by the way), fourteen weeks to the semester minus two for the beginning of term before there's enough material to test on and one for the week before exams where they're not allowed to give tests... it works out. So 7.013 test a week before last Thursday, 8.02t yesterday, 6.001 the day before -- I did not do as well as I thought I had on the bio, which sort of upsets me. Dumb errors on parts of the material I really did know cold, yuck. The average was low and my 51 was passing with a C, but yuck, must do better next time. :/ 8.02t I got a 72 on, which translates to a B-; average was a 63. I had no idea how I'd done walking out, haven't seen the test yet, haven't got much to say. I aced 6.001 with a 93 (yay team alison!) which made me happy (class average was in the realm of 82). Lost points exactly where I thought I lost points, but I'm satisfied. :)
Home for a day or two, seeing friends and family and doing laundry. It's always so odd when I come back, sitting in dead silence at midnight except for the whirring of the dishwasher. How come nobody's awake? Oh yeah, this whole thing with normal people and normal sleep hours...
