Oh, Heroes. I'm so glad it's back.

I watched this week's episode in a room full of other EC folks -- both guys and girls, mind you -- and when Claire started getting that contemplative look towards her toes, everyone flipped out. No! No! Don't do it! Ewwww! I can't watch! Except for liz_factorial, who instead started calling No! No! Don't pan to her face! Show it, show it! It was pretty amusing.

I'm actually more or less pleased with the first two episodes of the season. Yeah, there are lame bits, and squicky bits, but as an intro to season 2, I like it. Hurrah for TV.

I missed the first scene, in the classroom, except for the line about reading Claire's dissertation. Did that have something to do with her idea of regenerating?

Yep. Teacher shows a mildly creepy animation of lizard regenerating limbs; Claire gets interested and can't help blurting out questions (drawing the attention of stalkerboy and the rest of her classmates) -- could people someday do this? could people do this *now*?

I'd like to say my words where more of "Do it!" and "Show it!" over and over again!

Oh, and I was very sad that it didn't bleed more :-( but the regeneration was fucking awesomely gruesome :-)
