Biking back to the dorm, somehow a few lines from a song I heard a long time ago snuck into my head. "But in the light of the evening, sidewalks are teeming with the sound of the vendors, runners, I can't sleep-ers..." The miracle of the internet provided me with the rest of the lyrics and an mp3 clip based just on that snippet, which I share 'cause it's a truly gorgeous song.

Acoustic and bittersweet and probably not at all like what you think my taste in music runs to. :p I do believe that I bought the CD it's on, long long ago at a coffeehouse performance with my family at home -- I wonder if I can find it? I really want to hear the ending again...
