i'm pathetic

I don't deal well with change and I just can't shut up about this whole "high school's almost over, waaah" thing. Sorry. For your further entertainment (feel free to not click the cut tag) I now present:
crashing

i pulled out the bobby pins late friday night,
while we were all still sitting around yearbooks.
and it must have been early saturday morning
when i took off the dress, put on pajamas, went to bed;
i washed out the hairspray that afternoon.
on sunday i chipped away absentmindedly at the manicure
and today i filed my nails back to their normal curves
before they started to break.

i'm worried that i'll wake up
(the morning after friday?)
and discover that i dreamed this.

please, please
make it stop ending.
